Nothing says "I love you" quite like a delicious cheesy meal in the shape of a heart! This galette made with our Goat Gouda will surely win over your loved one.
INGREDIENTS:

Cook time: 1 hour
Crust (optional)
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup Artikaas Youngsters Goat Gouda, shredded
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2-4 tablespoons water (as needed)
- 1 egg (beaten for egg wash)
Blackberry Jam
- 1 cup blackberries, fresh or frozen (substitute any other type of berry)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
Galette
- 1/4 cup of blackberry jam
- 1/2 cup Artikaas Youngsters Goat Gouda, shredded
- 1/2 cup fresh blackberries
- 2 tsps fresh thyme, optional
HOW TO MAKE IT:
Blackberry Jam
- Instead of making your own blackberry jam, you can also just use your favorite store-bought jam!
- Add all of the jam ingredients to a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Allow the jam to simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring frequently until thickened.
- Let cool and transfer to a container to chill in the fridge until you're ready to use. The jam will last in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Crust
- If desired, you can use your favorite store-bought pie crust!
- Cut butter into small cubes and place in the fridge to firm up while you get the rest of your ingredients together.
- Combine the flour, shredded Artikaas Goat Gouda, sugar, and salt in a medium sized bowl.
