Nothing says "I love you" quite like a delicious cheesy meal in the shape of a heart! This galette made with our Goat Gouda will surely win over your loved one.

Artikaas Goat Gouda


Serves: 4

Prep time: 20 minutes

Cook time: 1 hour

Crust (optional)

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Artikaas Youngsters Goat Gouda, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2-4 tablespoons water (as needed)
  • 1 egg (beaten for egg wash)

Blackberry Jam

  • 1 cup blackberries, fresh or frozen (substitute any other type of berry)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch


  • 1/4 cup of blackberry jam
  • 1/2 cup Artikaas Youngsters Goat Gouda, shredded
  • 1/2 cup fresh blackberries
  • 2 tsps fresh thyme, optional

Galette ingredients


Blackberry Jam

  1. Instead of making your own blackberry jam, you can also just use your favorite store-bought jam!
  2. Add all of the jam ingredients to a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Allow the jam to simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring frequently until thickened.
  3. Let cool and transfer to a container to chill in the fridge until you're ready to use. The jam will last in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.


  1. If desired, you can use your favorite store-bought pie crust!
  2. Cut butter into small cubes and place in the fridge to firm up while you get the rest of your ingredients together.
  3. Combine the flour, shredded Artikaas Goat Gouda, sugar, and salt in a medium sized bowl.
