HOW TO MAKE IT:

1.     Place the mushrooms in a food processor bowl and pulse until finely chopped, then remove and set aside. In the same food processor, add in the cabbage and pulse until finely chopped.

2.     Heat a skillet over medium heat, then add in the sesame oil, grated carrots, chopped mushrooms, and chopped cabbage. Cook for 3-5 minutes (this just helps remove any excess water). Remove and add to a bowl.

3.     To the same bowl, add in the sliced green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, cornstarch, and the shredded Artikaas Youngsters Togarashi Gouda. Mix until fully combined.

4.     Place 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of a wonton wrapper.

5.     Using your finger or small brush, moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with water. Fold one of the corners up and seal it together with the other corner to form a triangle. Do not seal the sides of the triangle closed. Lift the right corner and seal it to the top. Press firmly to connect and seal. Continue with the remaining left corner. Press firmly to seal all edges closed.

6.     Repeat with the remaining filling and wonton wrappers.

7.     In a large pot, heat the oil over medium/high until it reaches 350. Fry 5 to 6 wontons at a time until golden brown, 2-3 minutes per side. Place the fried wontons on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.

8.     Serve immediately with soy sauce or sweet chili sauce!

9.     Reheat in the oven at 350 for 5-7 minutes.
